Steve Wyrick to appear on Ancient Aliens on the History Channel and H2 Networks

“The Magic of the Gods” episode of the hit TV series Ancient Aliens will debut on a high note when viewers get the chance to see illusionist Steve Wyrick open the show with an out-of-this-world massive illusion performed 80 feet in the air.

For this episode of the show on History’s H2 channel, filmed on the rooftop of Planet Hollywood’s parking garage, Wyrick created something epic. He vanished a huge SUV weighing several tons in the middle of a large group of spectators who were interlocking arms, creating a human barricade.

Obviously, when it comes to making an object disappear right in front of one’s very eyes, size matters.

“It was quite a challenge,” Wyrick admits. “Besides being outdoors and surrounded by the barricade of people, there could have been thousands of others watching as well from their rooms in the surrounding casino skyscrapers – Paris, Bally’s and even from Planet Hollywood and the Planet Hollywood Towers. They all would have had a bird’s-eye view.”

Ancient Aliens explores the controversial theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of years. This episode explores the wondrous wizards, mysterious sorcerers, and heavenly beings that possessed an unimaginable power throughout the ancient world of magic. Magic was used for everything from healing to communicating with the gods. But did magic really exist in ancient times, not as a form of theater but as a means of replicating the power of the gods? Do ancient accounts of magic suggest evidence of advanced otherworldly knowledge, a knowledge given to early humans as a means of helping them unlock their own – some might say “divine” – potential?
